Over Christmas, I had an outstanding stay at a resort in Sri Lanka. the location was convenient and near to the town. the hotel room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. the complimentary breakfast was both delicious and freshly made. you could request for specific dishes that were not on the menu without additional cost.
The room was not well insulated, and the cold outside permeated through the room. the dogs in the area were quite friendly, but some of them were persistent and tried to enter the room at night.

The location of the hotel was superb as it had direct access to a private beach with amazing swimming in rock pools. The staff were very welcoming, kind and attentive. They made sure to provide us with a clean, spacious, comfortable and modern room, and the breakfast was different every day and delicious. we enjoyed the great snorkelling activities provided by the Dive Centre that was located on the grounds of the hotel. This hotel offers good value for money and is secure, peaceful and perfect for families.
We didn't like the fact that we had to ask the staff to change our bed sheets and towels once in a while. , there were no warm blankets provided, which could be a problem during colder nights.

The hotel is located on the shoreline, providing wonderful views of the sea from the rooms. the bathrooms in the rooms are spacious and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. the staff are very friendly and accommodating, always willing to help their guests. Plus, the breakfast options were absolutely delightful, offering a variety of local and traditional cuisine.
The communal areas seemed to be frequently crowded with both locals and staff from the onsite facilities, making it noisy and hard to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The hotel is situated away from the busy crowds of Mirissa Beach, great for a peaceful and tranquil environment. I loved taking a scenic 15-minute walk along quieter beaches and over coconut hill to reach Mirissa Beach. The proximity to the sea was very nice, as I could hear the soothing sound of waves crashing all night long. Having breakfast and late night drinks in the garden beside the beach was a great experience. The spacious room offered a fine view of the sea, and the staff was friendly and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The hotel itself was clean and well-equipped, making my stay comfortable. I highly recommend Mirissa Reef Serenity for a enjoyable and relaxing vacation.
Although everything was great , there were a few minor inconveniences. I had to request certain things, such as changing bed sheets and towels, which could have been provided without asking.
